Your new company

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a successful, well-established independent firm. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership while making a real impact on clients and the wider tax department. You'll support clients with tax advice across a range of matters as well as overseeing the tax compliance process.

Your new role

Working closely with the Tax Partner, you'll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, overseeing compliance matters and formulating technical tax advice.

  • You'll also support clients through Making Tax Digital (MTD).
  • You'll review tax returns and computations.
  • Support the allocation of work across the team.
  • Mentor junior colleagues.
  • Help ensure clients receive exceptional service.
  • Opportunities to get involved in business development and networking activities to support the growth of the department.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll have a strong background in personal tax with excellent technical knowledge and the confidence to manage client relationships effectively. CTA qualification is preferred, although candidates who are qualified by experience with relevant expertise will also be considered. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, positive approach are essential.
