Personal Tax Manager

A fast-growing & highly successful firm of accountants based close to the eastern side of Bristol is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Manager to join their team. You will carve a role advising clients with personal tax planning a focus of the role, along with compliance support as a key right-hand support to the firm's Tax Directors. An excellent opportunity for the right tax professional looking to progress in their tax career.

Client Details

This firm is headed by two highly regarded tax specialists, both with strong career backgrounds and reputations delivering personal and corporate tax solutions to varied, complex and interesting clients. The firm acts for wide-ranging OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients wide-ranging in sector and turnover alongside a private clients base encompassing HNWIs, both UK based and overseas including non-domiciliary, resident, directors and other personal tax clients. Whilst delivering a quality compliance service the firm also focuses on tax planning and advisory services. The firm has plans to grow the business significantly over the next 1 - 2 years offering a chance for the right people to join at a key stage in this firm's growth plans, working directly and closely with the directors developing technically and carving a key, influential role in this firm with the associate progression opportunities on offer.

Description

Joining the near eastern edges of Bristol offices as a Personal Tax Manager you will work directly and closely with the firm's two directors delivering tax planning to wide-ranging individuals and personal tax clients, along with providing compliance support. The firm acts for wide-ranging OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients wide-ranging in sector and turnover up to in excess of £30 million in turnover on larger clients alongside a private clients base encompassing HNWIs, both UK based and overseas including non-domiciliary, resident, directors and other personal tax clients.

Profile

You will ideally hold a qualification across any of ACCA/ACA/ATT, or preferably CTA qualified, with anything up to one to two years or considerably more post-qualified experience.

You will have a background either focused entirely within personal tax or bring a mixed tax career background gained within an accountancy practice environment, or specialist tax firm and you be looking to further your career in tax, following qualification, within a firm offering progression and development. You will be able to demonstrate a client-serviced approach, with commercial awareness and the ability to add value to clients, building relationships and delivering tax planning work and be looking to progress in your tax career.

Job Offer
