Stockport | £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience | Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
An established accountancy practice in Stockport is looking for a Personal Tax Semi-Senior or Senior to join its tax team. You’ll manage work across a varied client portfolio, with the opportunity to develop your tax planning and advisory experience.

The role
- Prepare and review personal tax returns
- Manage filing deadlines and HMRC correspondence
- Respond to client queries and build strong working relationships
- Support tax planning and advisory projects
- Research more complex tax matters and share knowledge with the team
What you’ll need
- At least 3 years’ personal tax experience in a UK accountancy practice
- ATT part-qualified or fully qualified
- Experience managing deadlines and communicating directly with clients
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to develop your technical skills

Salary is £30,000–£40,000 depending on your experience. The role offers two days working from home each week, with three days in the Stockport office.
