If you’re confident managing a personal tax portfolio but feel your current role has become too focused on simply getting returns out of the door, this could give you the step forward you’re looking for.

This mixed compliance and advisory Personal Tax Senior / Senior Tax Adviser opportunity offers the chance to take genuine ownership of client relationships, managing your own compliance workflow, and becoming their trusted point of contact.

Additionally, you will work closely with and support the team leadership - Tax Director and Tax Manager - giving you scope to grow your advisory knowledge with exposure to more complex private client matters. The firm is seeing consistent growth, at a minimum of 10% year-on-year, with advisory work contributing significantly to this success.

For an experienced Personal Tax Senior, that means the best of both worlds: autonomy from day one, plus the support and technical exposure to broaden your knowledge across planning, Trusts, Estates and IHT. If you want more responsibility now, with the potential to progress towards CTA and develop a stronger advisory skillset over time, it’s well worth a conversation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
