In this role, you’ll manage a varied portfolio of personal tax work, preparing and reviewing tax returns alongside more technical work covering CGT, IHT, trusts, estates and tax advisory.

We’re working with an established accountancy practice in Leatherhead that is looking for an ATT or CTA qualified Personal Tax Senior to join its team.

The Role

Your workload will be varied, with the balance between preparation and review depending on the complexity of each assignment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
  • Completing Capital Gains Tax calculations, returns and other related matters
  • Working on Inheritance Tax matters
  • Dealing with trusts and estates
  • Handling more complex personal tax compliance work
  • Supporting clients with a range of tax queries
  • Getting involved in tax planning and advisory projects
  • Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships

You’ll need previous personal tax experience within a UK accountancy practice and must be ATT or CTA qualified.
