Description
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns.
- Provide tax planning advice tailored to individual client needs.
- Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and relay these to clients.
- Support junior team members with technical queries and training.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients remain compliant.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
Profile
A Successful Personal Tax Senior Should Have
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
- A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent).
- An organised and detail-oriented approach to meet deadlines effectively.
