About the Firm

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Crawley, employing around 50 staff. The firm is known for its friendly and supportive culture and provides outstanding opportunities for career development.

Role Overview

The firm is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join its growing tax team. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse client portfolio, work closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment, and develop your career within a firm that values progression and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review personal tax computations, including self-assessment returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and compliance matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for your portfolio.
  • Support junior team members through mentoring, review of work, and guidance on technical matters.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and implement best practices within the team.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA part-qualified, or ATT Qualified.
  • Significant experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax and associated legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
  • A collaborative and client-focused approach, aligned with the firm’s supportive culture.
