The Role

As a Personal Tax Compliance Associate, you will play a vital role in managing personal tax compliance for a varied client portfolio. You will also collaborate on tax planning and advisory tasks, helping clients achieve their financial goals. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to deepen their expertise in personal tax and build their professional career.

  • Prepare and submit personal tax returns for individual and HNWI clients.
  • Liaise with clients to gather and clarify required information.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant tax schedules, payments, and deadlines.
  • Support the advisory team by identifying tax-saving opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and HMRC, managing correspondence.
  • Stay updated on UK tax legislation and compliance changes.

The Ideal Candidate

You will already have strong experience in personal tax compliance and be comfortable managing client relationships. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a collaborative team while continuing your personal and professional growth.

Mandatory

  • ATT qualification or advanced stage of training.
  • Experience in personal tax compliance and preparing tax returns.
  • Previous exposure to HNWI client portfolios.
  • Familiarity with UK personal tax regulations, deadlines, and practices.
  • A proven ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred

  • Experience with a client mix that includes both individuals and corporate tax cases.
  • Knowledge of advanced tax-saving strategies for HNWIs.
  • Familiarity with HMRC systems and correspondence processes.
  • Exposure to tax advisory services beyond compliance.
