TPF Recruitment is supporting a fast growing and highly regarded Chartered Accountancy practice in Faversham with the recruitment of a Personal Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern and ambitious firm that has developed an outstanding reputation for the quality of its tax advice and client service. The practice advises a broad portfolio of high net worth individuals, business owners, directors, property investors and trusts, offering a genuine mix of compliance and advisory work.

The firm has experienced significant growth in recent years and continues to invest heavily in its people, technology and client offering, making it an excellent environment for someone looking to develop their career in tax.

The Role

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients while supporting the wider team on more complex advisory projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including directors, high net worth individuals and owner managed business clients
  • Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
  • Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning
  • Supporting with tax planning projects and advisory assignments
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as their day to-day point of contact
  • Assisting junior members of the team with technical queries and reviewing work where appropriate
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and support to clients

Requirements

Personal Tax Senior Faversham £40,000- £50,000+

  • Be ATT and/or CTA qualified, or be studying towards these qualifications
  • Have experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice environment
  • Have experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Possess strong technical knowledge across personal tax compliance matters
  • Have excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Be proactive, organised and keen to develop professionally
  • Have an interest in developing advisory and tax planning skills
