Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Personal Trainer role based in London. The Personal Trainer will design and deliver individualized training programs, conduct fitness assessments, and lead one-on-one and small group sessions on the gym floor. Responsibilities include:

Personal Trainers are expected to manage their own client base, maintain professional standards, and collaborate with the wider team to enhance the overall member experience.

Qualifications

  • Professional fitness expertise, including a recognized Personal Training certification (e.g., Level 3 or equivalent) and strong knowledge of exercise science, programming, and anatomy.
  • Coaching and communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse members, give clear instructions, and provide constructive feedback in a positive, inclusive manner.
  • Client service and relationship-building skills, including experience in retaining clients, understanding individual goals, and creating engaging, personalized workout experiences.
  • Health and safety awareness, including understanding of safe training practices, basic injury prevention, and adherence to gym policies and cleanliness standards.
  • Business and personal branding skills, such as basic sales, self-promotion, and time management to grow and manage a personal client portfolio.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to a dynamic, high-energy environment.
  • Previous experience in a commercial gym, boutique fitness studio, or group training environment is beneficial.
  • First aid/CPR certification and experience working with a wide range of fitness levels and backgrounds are a plus.
