Company Description
Slade Fitness is a friendly, independent training facility located in a rural setting near Sevenoaks, Kent. We provide a professional and welcoming environment where experienced fitness and health practitioners work collaboratively to support our clients.
Our team delivers Personal Training, group exercise, sports performance, and health services to a varied and established client community.
Role Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and reliable self-employed Personal Trainer to join the Slade Fitness team during our twilight hours.
The core hours are 3:00pm–8:00pm, Wednesday to Friday, with the possibility of additional days and hours if desired.
The role will include:
- Delivering high-quality one-to-one Personal Training
- Developing and managing a Personal Training client base
- Planning and delivering engaging group exercise classes
- Supporting clients and members on the gym floor
- Maintaining a welcoming, safe, and professional training environment
- Completing agreed end-of-day gym closing procedures
- Working collaboratively with Slade’s trainers, management team, and other health and fitness professionals

This is a self-employed opportunity. The successful trainer will be responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, professional insurance, and other self-employed obligations.
Slade Fitness is in a remote rural location and is not easily accessible by public transport. Applicants must therefore drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Qualifications
- A recognised Level 3 Personal Training qualification
- A relevant degree—such as Sports Science, Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Rehabilitation, or a related discipline—is highly desirable
- Appropriate professional and public liability insurance
- Experience delivering Personal Training and/or group exercise classes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for closing the facility
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach
- Full driving licence and access to your own transport
- Additional fitness qualifications, specialist expertise, or an existing client base would be advantageous
