We know exceptional learner experiences start with exceptional colleagues and we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Personal Tutor to join our Adult Care team.
In this role, you'll be supporting learners working towards Health and Social Care qualifications, primarily at Levels 2 and 3 across the North West, with opportunities to support higher-level programmes. As a Personal Tutor, you'll be helping our learners to develop new skills, build confidence and achieve their goals. What You'll Be Doing
As a Personal Tutor, you'll play an important role in every learner's apprenticeship journey. You'll support them from the start of their programme through to completion, providing high-quality coaching, assessment and guidance that helps them reach their full potential.
- You'll manage a caseload of Adult Care learners and deliver engaging, learner-focused support through workplace observations, reviews and one-to-one coaching sessions.
- You'll monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and help learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to succeed both in their qualification and in their career.
- A key part of the role is building strong relationships with employers, working collaboratively to create positive learner experiences and ensure learners remain on track.
- You'll also support learners as they prepare for End Point Assessment and promote participation in our Elevate programme to maximise achievement and engagement.

This is a remote role, but travel across the North West of England will be required to carry out learner observations, reviews, team meetings and one-to-one sessions.

That's why we've invested in dedicated specialist teams who work alongside you throughout the learner journey.
- You'll work with learners to identify and overcome barriers to learning, helping them stay engaged and achieve their goals.
- However, you won't be responsible for recruiting learners, enrolling learners onto programmes, delivering Functional Skills or facilitating curriculum workshops.
- Instead, you'll be supported by our Development Coaches, Functional Skills Tutors, Learning Support Teams, Quality Improvement Coaches and Business Development teams.
It's a truly collaborative approach that allows you to focus on what you do best: helping learners succeed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines occupational experience within the Health and Social Care sector (ideally supervisory/managerial), others along with a genuine passion for developing others.
- You'll hold a recognised assessor qualification such as CAVA, TAQA, D32/D33 or A1, alongside a Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- You'll have experience delivering high-quality coaching, assessment or teaching, as well as managing a learner caseload within a work-based learning or apprenticeship environment.
- You'll also have a good understanding of apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment, along with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to support travel requirements.
- A teaching qualification such as AET or PTLLS would be advantageous, but if you don't already have one, we'll support you in gaining it.
- Most importantly, you'll be someone who can motivate, encourage and inspire learners to achieve more than they thought possible.
