Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum plus performance-related bonuses of up to £5,000 per year
Location: Remote working with travel for learner observations, employer visits, team meetings and 1:1s.
You'll be regionally aligned based on your home location and will typically support learners within a two-hour travel radius of your home address.
Hours: Full time 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with flexible options available

About The Role
We're looking for engaging, supportive and experienced professionals to join our growing Personal Tutor team, delivering Health & Social Care qualifications at Levels 2 and 3.
As a Personal Tutor, you'll guide learners throughout their programme, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to achieve their qualification and progress in their careers.
Through our market-leading Elevate programme, you'll provide high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment, ensuring every learner receives an exceptional learning experience from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Inspire, motivate and support learners to achieve their Health & Social Care qualifications.
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning and assessment tailored to individual learner needs.
- Manage a caseload of learners, providing regular reviews, workplace observations and progress support.
- Offer constructive feedback that drives learner development and achievement.
- Build positive relationships with employer partners, ensuring a first-class learner experience.
- Promote and maximise engagement with our Elevate workshops and learning resources.
- Monitor learner progress through our Learning Management System, BUD.
- Work collaboratively with our specialist Functional Skills and Additional Learning Support teams.
- Produce clear, accurate and meaningful review and observation documentation.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.

The Support You'll Receive
At Paragon Skills, Personal Tutors are genuinely supported to focus on learner success.
Alongside your manager and wider team, you'll have access to dedicated support functions that help learners at every stage of their journey, including:
- Development Coaches who support learners at the start of their programme.
- Quality Improvement Coaches who support both tutors and learners throughout delivery.
- Specialist Functional Skills and Additional Learning Support teams.
- Central learner engagement teams who support with attendance, breaks in learning and learner retention.
- Dedicated EPA support teams to help learners prepare for successful completion.
This means you can focus on delivering high-quality teaching, coaching and learner progression.
What You Won't Be Doing
Unlike many similar roles, you won't be expected to manage everything yourself.
You won't be responsible for:
- Delivering Functional Skills qualifications.
- Recruiting or generating your own learners.
- Enrolling learners onto programmes.
- Delivering workshop content, as this is provided through our dedicated Workshop Tutors and Elevate delivery teams.
- Managing learners through EPA administration processes.
We've built specialist teams around our Personal Tutors so you can concentrate on supporting learners towards successful, timely achievement.
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS or equivalent).
- Health & Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Experience delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Experience managing a learner caseload.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship or vocational qualification delivery.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
- Ability and willingness to travel for observations, learner visits and team meetings.

- Experience delivering Health & Social Care Levels 2 and 3 qualifications.
- Understanding of End Point Assessment requirements.
