Looking for a practical, outdoor role with real career progression?
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Trainee Pest & Bird Control Technician to join our growing team. This is the perfect role for someone eager to build a long-term career in a specialist industry.
You don’t need prior pest control experience, we’ll provide full training and support you in achieving your RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, setting you up with a recognised industry qualification and clear progression opportunities.
If you enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors, and delivering great customer service, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
With training and mentoring, you’ll learn to:
- Assist in delivering professional pest and bird control services
- Carry out site inspections and identify potential pest activity
- Support treatment plans and bird deterrent installations
- Monitor and report findings accurately
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Work independently across your region once trained
- Attend regular team meetups and training sessions

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and eager to learn
- Practical and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
- Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
- Personable and confident speaking with customers
- Organised and self-motivated
- Interested in wildlife, nature, or environmental work
A full UK driving licence is essential.
No previous pest control experience is required, just the right attitude and willingness to develop.
