Pest Control Service Technician
Sheffield & Surrounding Areas | £28,500 per annum
Nottingham Pest Control is growing, and we're looking for an experienced and qualified Pest Control Service Technician to join our team, covering Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pest control professional looking to join an established business where you'll have the independence to manage your own service area, while benefiting from the support of an experienced and knowledgeable team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing your own service area and daily schedule, delivering a high standard of pest management across a varied customer base. You'll carry out both planned and reactive pest control work, using your technical knowledge and experience to identify pest issues, implement effective treatments and provide customers with practical preventative advice.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out thorough pest inspections and appropriate treatments.
- Managing your own daily schedule and designated service area.
- Identifying pest activity, potential entry points and underlying causes.
- Implementing effective and appropriate pest management solutions.
- Providing customers with preventative advice and recommendations.
- Building and maintaining strong, professional customer relationships.
- Completing accurate service reports and treatment records.
- Delivering excellent customer service on every visit.
- Managing your workload effectively and working independently.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance.
- Keeping up to date with relevant pest control practices, products and industry requirements.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting the wider team where required.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Pest Control Technician who has the technical knowledge, practical skills and customer focus to operate independently across their service area.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous professional experience working as a Pest Control Technician.
- RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent recognised qualification.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or domestic pest control.
- Good understanding of pest identification, treatment methods and preventative pest management.
- Experience managing your own workload and customer appointments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, reliable and conscientious approach.
- Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
