Role Description
The Pest Control Technician is a full-time remote role responsible for assessing and managing pest activity across residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Inspecting sites
- Identifying pest issues
- Recommending and implementing integrated pest management solutions
- Monitoring treatment effectiveness
The technician will:
- Document findings
- Maintain accurate service records
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to occupants
The role also involves:
- Advising clients on preventive measures
- Coordinating follow-up visits
- Adhering to company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant UK standards
Qualifications

- Strong Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a range of pest issues safely and effectively.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information in clear terms and build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant pest control certifications (RSPH L2 / BPCA L2 / CRRU, the ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of health & safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, and use digital tools for reporting and client communication.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate is also essential for this role.
