Job Title: PET-CT Radiographer
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Locum / Part-time
Rate: £36 - £55 per hour Limited Company or PAYE Umbrella
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate PET-CT Radiographer to support a high-quality diagnostic imaging service in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PET-CT professional to join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering accurate, safe, and patient-centred PET-CT imaging services. The successful candidate will perform PET-CT imaging procedures to a high clinical standard, ensuring compliance with best practice, clinical protocols, radiation safety requirements, and governance standards. You will provide compassionate care throughout the patient journey, ensuring dignity, comfort, and reassurance at every stage.
Key Requirements
- BSc Diagnostic Radiography, BSc Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration (where applicable).
- Previous experience working within PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine services.
- Experience performing PET-CT imaging procedures within a clinical environment.
- Strong understanding of radiation protection, IR(ME)R, and clinical governance requirements.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on patient care and confidentiality.
- Flexible approach with the ability to support mobile services and travel between locations.
- Eligibility to drive in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET-CT imaging procedures safely and accurately in line with clinical protocols and departmental standards.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their appointment.
- Carry out equipment checks, quality assurance procedures, and escalate any technical issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging data in accordance with information governance requirements.
- Support clinical governance, audits, CPD activities, and continuous service improvement.
- Work collaboratively with radiographers, technologists, clinicians, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the smooth running of both clinical and administrative processes within the service.
