Pet Health Sales Representative

Ready to lead the success of exciting new product launches while strengthening trusted partnerships with veterinary customers across Northern England and Scotland?

R&D Partners is seeking a highly experienced Pet Health Sales Representative to cover a key territory during a maternity leave period. This role is critical to maintaining strong customer relationships and driving sales momentum during a significant product launch phase.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the territory spanning North of Preston to the Scottish Borders and East to Leeds.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with veterinary customers, including independent and corporate accounts.
  • Execute product launch strategies to drive adoption and gain market share for new products.
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets, particularly for growth brands.
  • Operate independently, managing priorities and activities effectively with minimal supervision.

Key Skills and Requirements

Industry Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of active sales experience within the UK Pet Health Pharmaceutical sector.
  • Established credibility, industry contacts, and deep understanding of market dynamics and products.

Sales Performance

  • Documented history of consistently achieving ambitious sales targets.

Relationship Management

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with veterinary customers.

Product Launch Expertise

  • Proven ability to execute successful product launch strategies in competitive environments.

Self-Starter

  • Autonomous work ethic with the ability to manage a territory independently.

Cultural Alignment

  • Customer-centric approach, collaborative spirit, ethical conduct, and drive for continuous improvement.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Experience or capacity for rapid learning in companion animal dermatology and parasitology.
