We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to take the lead on the delivery and performance of a portfolio of PFI, PPP and non-PFI contracts.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll bring together people, performance, compliance and commercial management to deliver outstanding facilities services and build strong, lasting client relationships.
Working closely with the Regional Manager and key stakeholders, you’ll have the opportunity to shape operational delivery, develop your team and identify opportunities to improve both service performance and commercial results.
What you’ll be doing
- Take ownership of contract performance, facilities management delivery, people, health & safety, quality and profitability.
- Ensure contractual commitments, SLAs and project requirements are delivered consistently and effectively.
- Develop site-specific policies and operational procedures aligned with client needs and company standards.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, client standards, Building Bulletins and service specifications.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, end users and SPV stakeholders.
- Coordinate technical requirements and the sourcing of mechanical and electrical components to reduce operational risk.
- Lead, develop and motivate your team, creating a positive culture focused on performance, development and retention.
- Produce clear monthly performance reports covering compliance, risks, issues, workloads and opportunities.
- Maintain robust health & safety, audit, risk and contingency arrangements.
- Manage budgets and procurement to deliver value for money while identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Take ownership of monthly and year-to-date P&L performance, budget accountability, aged debt and work-in-progress recovery.
- Ensure statutory compliance across the facilities, acting as the contract Responsible Person for Legionella and fire safety.
- Work collaboratively across the wider integrated facilities management team to support growth and continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
