The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and proactive PGA Education Lead & BTEC Tutor to oversee and deliver a comprehensive education programme within our Boys Academy on a fixed-term basis (0.8 FTE). This pivotal role is focused on preparing young players for life beyond football by providing high-quality academic, vocational, and personal development support.

You will lead the design and review of educational pathways, coordinate with external providers, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with players, coaches, and external stakeholders to support their educational and transitional needs.
What We Ask For:
You will have a proven track record in managing educational programmes, ideally within a sporting or youth development context, with strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

You should possess relevant teaching qualifications, experience working with Level 3 programmes such as BTECs or A-levels, and a good understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and safeguarding standards.
You will need to be a confident collaborator, able to manage multiple stakeholders—including schools, colleges, and internal teams—and adapt to the dynamic environment of a professional football club. Flexibility, a proactive approach, and a passion for player development are essential.
You will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS through SAFCW.
