At Virgin Active, our purpose is to change people’s lives for the better through wellness. We are evolving into social wellness clubs, vibrant spaces where movement, recovery, connection, and community come together. Golf plays a key role in this experience, and we’re redefining how it’s delivered: more inclusive, more engaging, and more connected to overall wellbeing.
This is a self-employed, freelance opportunity where you will retain your lesson revenue, subject to agreed facility usage terms. You’ll benefit from structured access to coaching hours across peak and non-peak times, giving you the platform to build a consistent client base, alongside the opportunity to grow your business within a high-demand, premium member environment.
We are now looking for an exceptional PGA-qualified Golf Coach to join us in September 2026, delivering world-class coaching while building a thriving business within a premium club setting.
What we can offer
This is an opportunity to operate as a self-employed coach within a high-end wellness environment, giving you the autonomy to grow your business while being supported by the strength of the Virgin Active brand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
