Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Global Sales Director to join a leading provider of process engineering solutions within the life sciences sector. Based in a dynamic, global organisation, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead the growth of the pharmaceutical division, specialising in EPC projects, process systems, and hygienic liquid processing equipment. The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, and a passion for developing new markets and building long-lasting client relationships.

This role is predominantly focused on engaging with customers across the UK, Ireland, and the USA, with potential for extensive international travel to support global business development efforts. You will be instrumental in shaping the division’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and recruiting and leading a global sales team to achieve ambitious targets.

  • Provide global sales leadership and strategic direction for the pharmaceutical sector, aiming to achieve a target revenue of £23m+ per annum.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with the division’s vision, including market segmentation, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leading negotiations and fostering long-term partnerships to support continued growth.
  • Act as the main ambassador for the organisation at international trade events, conferences, and customer meetings, showcasing capabilities and technical solutions.
  • As the Global Sales Director, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, recruiting resources globally to support business expansion.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Sales Director we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or related discipline).
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in sales within the pharmaceutical process equipment and EPC project sector, with a strong record of lead generation and client management.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical legislative and compliance standards, alongside excellent strategic planning and negotiation skills.
