About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing prescriptions and delivering healthcare services.
- Managing a pharmacy team and exceeding service standards.
- Providing NHS and private healthcare services, including urgent care, emergency prescriptions, and patient counselling.
- Building strong relationships with local communities through empathic, expert care.
- Offering a diverse range of services, ensuring 24/7 availability via flexible opening hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends).
- Ensuring safety, leadership, and collaborative working to support team performance.
Support & Development
- Access to in-store, regional, and home office teams for all training, clinical, or service-related queries.
- Regular feedback, business updates, and pathways to gain additional accreditation (fully funded by Asda).

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
- NHS & private healthcare accreditation for delivering national and local services.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer and patient care.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to adopt an empathetic, caring approach to health advising.
- Demonstrated drive, ambition, and commitment to meeting business targets.
- Clear leadership skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
- A willingness to work collaboratively and nurture a supporting team culture.
