Pharmacist Required

Stockport, Greater Manchester (SK6)

EASTWAY PHARMA LTD. operates pharmacies serving patients and healthcare providers in and around Stockport. We are committed to providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical services, with a strong focus on patient care, professional standards, and regulatory compliance.

We are currently looking for a GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join our team. This is a flexible part-time or zero-hours position, with the potential for full-time hours by mutual agreement. Working hours and pay are negotiable depending on experience, availability, and the requirements of the pharmacy.

Role:

  • Dispensing and clinically checking prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, and patient safety
  • Providing appropriate counselling and advice regarding medicines, including dosage, side effects, interactions, and safe use
  • Advising patients on over-the-counter medicines and general health queries
  • Supervising day-to-day pharmacy operations and supporting the pharmacy team
  • Managing stock control, ordering, and appropriate storage of medicines
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and pharmacy procedures
  • Working collaboratively with pharmacy technicians, dispensers, assistants, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Supporting the delivery and development of clinical services and health initiatives
  • Maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality, professionalism, and patient-centred care

Requirements:

  • Current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Competence in dispensing and clinical checking within a community or clinical pharmacy setting
  • Good knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutic guidelines, drug interactions, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, confidentiality, and ethical professional practice
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a pharmacy team
  • Familiarity with pharmacy IT systems and digital dispensing/record-keeping tools
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Previous community pharmacy experience is desirable
