Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in the United Kingdom in Peterborough and Kings Lynn. The Pharmacist will be responsible for:

  • Dispensing medications accurately
  • Checking prescriptions for clinical appropriateness
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant pharmacy regulations and professional standards

  • Supporting patients with repeat prescriptions and chronic therapies

The role involves:

  • Collaborating with prescribers and other healthcare professionals
  • Overseeing pharmacy support staff
  • Maintaining accurate records and stock control

The Pharmacist will also contribute to:

  • Continuous improvement of pharmacy services

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including safe dispensing practices and understanding of medication therapies.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Candidates should possess sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage prescriptions, documentation, and inventory.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with pharmacy systems, record-keeping tools, and basic digital literacy for prescription management.
  • Relevant professional registration as a Pharmacist with the appropriate UK regulatory body GPhC is required.
  • A degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent) and completion of pre-registration requirements are essential.
  • Experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and ongoing professional development is expected.
