An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist in Basingstoke

We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacist to join a friendly, patient-focused community pharmacy in Basingstoke.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a pharmacy that is committed to providing high-quality patient care, developing its services and supporting its team.
The Role
As the Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and patient-centred pharmaceutical care to the local community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
- Providing professional and clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Carrying out appropriate clinical checks and interventions.
- Supporting the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services.
- Providing consultations and advice on medicines, minor ailments and general health.
- Supporting patients with their wider health and wellbeing.
- Working closely with and supporting the wider pharmacy team.
- Maintaining excellent standards of patient safety, governance and professional practice.
- Building positive and trusted relationships with patients.
- Supporting the continued development and improvement of pharmacy services.

Newly Qualified Pharmacists
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist looking to build confidence and gain valuable experience within community pharmacy.
You will be supported as you develop your clinical knowledge, consultation skills and professional judgement. The pharmacy offers an environment where you can learn, develop and establish yourself as a confident community pharmacist.

Experienced Pharmacists
For an experienced pharmacist, this role provides an opportunity to bring your knowledge and experience into a supportive community pharmacy environment.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the pharmacy, support the wider team and play an important role in delivering excellent patient care.
We welcome pharmacists who are proactive, clinically focused and keen to contribute ideas and improvements.
About You
We are looking for a pharmacist who is:
- GPhC registered or eligible for registration.
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care.
- Professional, approachable and confident communicating with patients.
- Clinically focused and able to make appropriate professional decisions.
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment.
- A strong team player.
- Committed to continuing professional development.
- Enthusiastic about developing pharmacy services and improving patient outcomes.
