Lincolnshire Co-op is an independent consumer co-operative and registered Co-operative and Community Benefit Society operating across Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. Owned by around 300,000 members who hold dividend cards, the Society runs over 220 outlets, including pharmacies and other community-focused services. Role Description
The Pharmacist Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincoln, responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. This includes overseeing prescription dispensing, clinical services, and immunization programs while ensuring safe, effective, and compliant pharmacy practice. The role involves managing and mentoring pharmacy technicians and other team members, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supporting professional development within the team. The Pharmacist Manager will also handle inventory management, regulatory and legal compliance, and collaboration with wider Lincolnshire Co-op colleagues to deliver excellent service to members and the community.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, including safe dispensing of medications and adherence to professional standards.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with Pharmacy Technicians, providing guidance and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Strong competence in handling Prescription processes, including clinical checks, counseling, and accurate record keeping.
- Skills in delivering Immunization services in line with current guidelines, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent), full registration with the relevant pharmacy regulatory body, and eligibility to practice in the UK.
- Proven experience in a community pharmacy leadership or management role, including staff supervision and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and person-centered care.
