More About The Role

Our store pharmacies play an essential part in supporting the health and wellbeing of our local communities. As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant, you'll work alongside our Pharmacists to accurately label, assemble, and dispense prescribed medicines, making sure our customers get the safe, compassionate care they rely on.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist, you'll support daily operations, deliver key pharmacy services like blood pressure or health checks, and make sure every customer feels properly supported.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

  • Put customers first: Engage compassionately with customers, guiding them to take medication safely and answering queries with a warm, helpful attitude.
  • Accurately dispense medicines: Label, assemble, and perform first accuracy checks on prescribed items, supporting the safe and legal operation of the pharmacy.
  • Deliver pharmacy services: Offer advice and deliver in-store health services, specialised fittings, and prescription hand-outs in line with company procedures.
  • Keep operations safe and legal: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, data security rules, and stock management routines to maintain availability and minimise waste.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
