Pharmacist Manager – Community Pharmacy
Location: Mottingham, London
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Work Location: In person
Salary: Competitive
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Pharmacist Manager to lead our community pharmacy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make the pharmacy your own, introduce new ideas, and help grow services with full support from our management team.
You will have independence in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, alongside practical guidance from senior colleagues. The role combines patient care, service development, and team leadership in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe dispensing, clinical checks, medicines advice, and patient-centred service
- Deliver and develop NHS services such as Pharmacy First and blood pressure checks
- Expand private services including PGDs, travel health consultations, and vaccinations
- Organise and deliver seasonal vaccination clinics (COVID-19 and flu)
- Lead and motivate the pharmacy team, fostering a positive and supportive culture
- Oversee staffing, stock, purchasing, service claims, and daily workflows
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

About You
- GPhC-registered pharmacist
- Strong leadership skills with a patient-focused approach
- Experience in community pharmacy management or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Interest in clinical service delivery, travel health, and vaccination clinics
- Organised, proactive, and motivated to grow the pharmacy while keeping care at the centre
