We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our store team, delivering essential care, advice, and prescriptions to our local community.

At Morrisons Pharmacy, we take a holistic approach to healthy living - it’s just natural for us. With our focus on the freshness and goodness of our food, our in-store pharmacies are a logical next step in helping our customers look after themselves, inside and out.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have every opportunity to lead and shape your service and put it right at the heart of the store.

Our Pharmacy Managers are responsible for the following:

  • Leading your team with care you will emphasise the importance of clinical governance and investing time in training your colleagues.
  • Proactively driving pharmacy sales, services, and profitability in a cost-effective and safe way, making sure we always adhere to legal, ethical, and company requirements.
  • Manage individual staff competence and team performance, bringing out the best in everyone while implementing and sharing best practices across the department.
  • Focus on day-to-day operations as well as medium-term strategy, regularly auditing our services, systems, records, and standards to ensure we’re always delivering the very best for our community.

Morrisons Pharmacies offer colleagues a high level of working flexibility and control over their work rotas. This enables routine overlap periods with other pharmacists on duty, for consistency of patient care and colleague development.

More About You

We’re looking for a passionate, qualified Pharmacy Manager who combines clinical expertise with great leadership skills and a warm, compassionate approach.

You'll be the kind of person who has:

  • Pharmacy qualifications and registration: Holds a recognised Pharmacy degree and active membership with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven team management experience: Confident leading, supporting, and developing a pharmacy team, managing workloads effectively and getting the best out of your colleagues.
  • A caring attitude: Takes a practical, hands-on approach to running the pharmacy, resolving customer queries comfortably and efficiently.

Please note: All Pharmacy Managers joining Morrisons will need to complete an enhanced DBS check (which we will organise and cover for you) before starting work with us.
