A rare, new and exciting opportunity has arisen at our Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital where we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead and develop our pharmacy services within our prestigious private hospital. As Pharmacy Manager, you’ll provide both operational and clinical leadership for the pharmacy department, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred medicines management across the hospital.
As Pharmacy Manager, you will lead a team, manage medicines governance, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You’ll have previous hospital Pharmacy Manager experience as well as strong leadership and management capabilities. You will be highly organised, analytical and have the ability to drive service improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the pharmacy department
- Ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines throughout the hospital
- Lead, manage, and develop the pharmacy team, including performance management and staff development
- Oversee medicines management, procurement, stock control, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, hospital policies, and relevant legislation
- Support clinical governance, audits, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with consultants, clinicians, and senior management teams
