Pharmacist Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Lead a Pharmacy That Makes a Difference

Our client, a well-established and highly respected community pharmacy group, is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist Manager to lead one of its thriving pharmacy branches. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified pharmacist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care while leading a dedicated team in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within the local community, driving clinical excellence, operational performance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
  • Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical services.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legal, and professional standards.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to achieve outstanding performance.
  • Drive service delivery, including NHS and private clinical services.
  • Monitor stock management, controlled drugs, and dispensary processes.
  • Build strong relationships with local GP surgeries, healthcare providers, and the wider community.
  • Promote a culture focused on patient safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the achievement of business objectives while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience working within a community pharmacy setting.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • A patient-first approach with outstanding communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, organised, and commercially aware mindset.
  • Independent Prescribing qualification (desirable but not essential).
