Production Operator
A Production Operator is required to carry out a range of duties as part of a busy team within the Pharmaceutical Production Unit. This can include the Aseptic, Sterile and Non-Sterile production units. All work is performed in a ‘clean-room’ environment, which requires changing into and working in specialised clothing and some confirmed areas.
Pharmacy Production Operator
The Pharmacy Production Operator will be required to undertake a minimum of 12 months on the job training to develop the necessary skills, competence, and knowledge to fulfil the job requirements.
Important Notice on Visa Sponsorship Eligibility
Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting Skilled Worker Route and salary threshold of £41,700 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

Job Summary
Undertakes the routine preparation of all ‘products’ produced at Stockport Pharmaceuticals under the terms of the Medicines Licence (specials). Carries out under supervision:

- Aseptic manufacturing

- Over labelling

Develop technical skills to perform these duties carefully and accurately, with a requirement to concentrate. To be personally responsible for strictly following all procedures and Guidance documents to ensure a quality product is produced to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. To wear the designated ‘clean room’ clothing correctly and work at a level that maintains the required environmental standards essential to the production. Develop a conscientious attitude in order to provide a coordinated and effective service.
