Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Support Worker (Higher Level)

We are seeking motivated, reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Workers (Higher Level) to join our Medicines Management Replenishment and Clinical Support Team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your pharmacy knowledge in practice, work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, and support the safe, timely and effective supply of medicines to service users across Mersey Care.
The role may particularly suit students enrolled on a pharmacy degree who are keen to build confidence in medicines supply, ward-based pharmacy services, communication with clinical teams, and the practical application of safe and effective medicines management. However, applications are welcomed from anyone who can demonstrate the required skills, values and suitability for the role.
Main Duties of the Job
- Participate in the seven-day medicines supply service.
- Replenish and manage stock levels in wards, clinics, and departments across the Trust’s geographical footprint.
- Dispense and supply medicines.
- Contribute to audits and the safe use of automated dispensing systems.
- Work flexibly across secure and non-secure sites, supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.
