Pharmacy Support Worker Stores and Distribution
We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Support Worker Stores and Distribution who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
About the Role
The role will entail the receipt, storage, and issues of pharmaceutical products, including the maintenance of records. To use the current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service.
Key Requirements
- Experience in pharmacy work would be desirable but is not essential.
- You are expected to be keen to learn, hardworking and able to work under pressure and undertake manual handling of goods.

Main Duties
- Use of current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service.
- Monitoring the expiry dates of stock held in the Pharmacy as per the timetable.
- Assist with the receipt of goods at Pharmacy Stores door or collect at Hospital rear entrance, signing and dating the receipt.
- Unpack goods checking quantity and quality against order and delivery note as per procedures.

Training and Development
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services in addition to completing the in-house training programme for Support Workers.
