Role Description
The Pharmacy Technician role at Brent Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site position based in Brentford. The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacist by accurately processing prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

- Maintaining inventory levels
- Organizing stock
- Checking expiry dates
- Assisting with ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies
- Greeting patients
- Answering questions about prescriptions and pharmacy services
- Handling payments
- Providing courteous, efficient customer service
The Pharmacy Technician will work as part of a collaborative team to promote patient safety, confidentiality, and a positive in-store experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of prescriptions and pharmacy workflows, with experience supporting licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications.
- Background in pharmacy or as a Pharmacy Technician, with familiarity using pharmacy systems and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Skills in inventory control, including stock management, ordering, and maintaining accurate records of medications and supplies.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and assist patients in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Relevant pharmacy technician certification or registration, as required by local regulations, and prior experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using point-of-sale and pharmacy management software.
- Reliability, integrity, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
