About The Role
Are you ready to begin an exciting career in the world of healthcare? As a Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our customers and the wider community. Working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC and achieve a Level 3 qualification.
What You’ll Do
- Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by working closely with pharmacy managers to complete training and tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, effective and high-quality services to customers while maintaining excellent patient care.
- Assist with the preparation, dispensing and supply of medicines under the supervision of qualified pharmacy professionals.
- Support patients with general enquiries, signposting them to the appropriate healthcare services when required.
- Accurately process prescriptions and support the dispensing of medicines in line with pharmacy procedures.
- Support safe medicine storage, stock rotation and the management of expiry dates.
- Complete all required elements of the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme over a 24-month period

What We Are Looking For
- Eligibility for the apprenticeship, including GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- Dedicated to learning and completing a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship.
- Passion for helping people, customer service and healthcare/pharmacy.
- Friendly, professional attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Good organisation, accuracy and teamwork in a busy environment.
