Earn while you learn and achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. No prior pharmacy experience required—just strong ability and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
- A strong academic background and a quick, curious mind.
- Excellent numeracy and confidence with detailed, technical information.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to patient safety.
- Clear communication skills and a professional, calm manner.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to commit fully to the length and demands of the apprenticeship.
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (grade 5-9).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- A full UK driving licence and access to own transport is preferred.
- Professional attitude, strict respect for patient confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

Responsibilities
- Preparing, assembling and supplying prescription medicines accurately and safely, in line with legal and clinical standards.
- Providing clear, person-centred advice on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, and referring appropriately to pharmacists or other healthcare professionals.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock control, ordering, business processes and clinical governance.
- Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, orders and patient records accurately.
- Supporting and helping to train pharmacy support staff as you progress.
- Contributing to audits, service evaluations and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality and patient safety at all times.
