Manchester Community Urgent Care Services
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technician to join the well supported and award-winning Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation, community medicines optimisation service (CMOS). The service provides patient facing clinical pharmacy services, working closely with other pharmacy teams and services across Manchester Foundation Trust.
The LCO Urgent Care Crisis Response and Discharge to Assess (D2A) services play an important role in supporting the NHS 10-year plan to deliver more care in patients’ homes and community settings. The D2A service supports individuals recently discharged from hospital to remain safely at home. The Crisis Response service provides timely, responsive care to patients at home, helping them avoid unnecessary attendance at hospital emergency departments and other healthcare services. This model of care is delivered by an experienced multidisciplinary team (MDT), including advanced care practitioners (ACPs), nurses and pharmacists.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
