Remote Pharmacy Technician – Primary Care
Remote | Locum | Flexible Hours
We are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support GP practices and PCNs on a remote locum basis.
This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with previous Primary Care experience who is looking for flexible, ongoing work from home.
The Role
You will support GP practices and PCNs with a range of Primary Care pharmacy duties, which may include:
- Supporting medication reviews and medicines optimisation
- Prescription queries and medication-related administrative tasks
- Supporting repeat prescribing processes
- Reviewing medication and identifying potential issues
- Supporting structured medication reviews and clinical audits
- Liaising with GPs, clinicians, pharmacies and other healthcare professionals
- Supporting patients with medication-related queries
- Contributing to safe and effective prescribing within the practice

Requirements
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience within Primary Care is essential
- Experience working within a GP practice or PCN
- Your own suitable laptop/equipment for remote working
- SystmOne and/or EMIS Web installed and accessible
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Available for weekly locum work

Hours & Pay
Locum position with variable hours available, depending on practice requirements and your availability.
