About The Role
As a Pharmacy Technician within Practice Plus Group IUC's Worcestershire Urgent Access Primary Care Service, you will help deliver a safe, legal and high-quality medicines management service across multiple primary care settings. Working closely with clinical, operational and medicines management teams, you will support compliance with regulatory standards, commissioning requirements and organisational policies.
This is a varied role with responsibility for maintaining medicines governance, supporting safer prescribing initiatives and ensuring effective stock management across Primary Care Centres throughout Worcestershire. Regular travel between sites is required to maintain medicine availability and support safe service delivery.

You will play a key role in monitoring prescribing activity, coordinating medicines management processes, reviewing medicines-related incidents and supporting audits, inspections and quality improvement activity. The position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues while contributing to patient safety and service excellence.

You will also support the ongoing development of medicines management practices, help implement local and national guidance, and contribute to governance activities that improve the quality and effectiveness of care across the service.
