Role Description
This full-time PhD Fellowship is an on-site role based at one of the four universities. The fellow will undertake discovery research on the topic of multimorbidity/multiple long term conditions (MLTC).
Qualifications
- Strong research skills, including literature review, study design, data collection, and data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative) desirable
- Academic skills such as scientific writing, critical thinking, and the ability to contribute to peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
- Health professionals registered to practice in the UK with experience of working in the NHS
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in interdisciplinary teams and engaging with community or clinical partners.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work independently under supervision within an on-site academic environment.
- A strong academic background, for example an intercalated or master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant health field.
- Familiarity with research ethics, governance frameworks, and responsible conduct of research will be viewed favourably.
- Interest in community engagement, knowledge exchange, and impact-focused health research is highly beneficial.
