Job Title: Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

Reporting to: National Fundraising Manager

Location: Flexible with requirement to travel to national office, external meetings and events on a regular basis.

Salary Range: Senior Professional (€50,000 - €60,000)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and grow corporate, philanthropic and major donor relationships to support Threshold’s fundraising targets.
  • Research and apply to Trusts, Foundations and Grants; manage applications and submissions on time.
  • Represent Threshold at meetings, presentations and networking events.
  • Develop and secure engaging corporate partnerships and high-quality fundraising proposals.
  • Provide excellent account management for existing major donors.
  • Support online fundraising platforms and fundraising communications.
  • Contribute to fundraising strategy and budget planning.
  • Prospect new supporters, including HNWI (high net worth individuals), Trusts and Foundations new to Threshold.
  • Gather and develop donor-focused storytelling content to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Track, analyse and report major giving performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and ensure compliance with the Charities Regulator Guidelines and governance code.
  • Support additional fundraising projects and tasks as required.

Who we are looking for

This is an exciting position within Threshold, and an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to our busy and dynamic fundraising team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and professional individual who has a passion to raise much needed funds for Threshold’s work and who is ambitious in their role.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of fundraising and working to targets ideally through trusts, foundations and/or corporate relationships. You will enjoy working at a fast pace and working on a range of tasks. You will be organised, flexible, hard-working with a passion to provide excellent donor care.

Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • 2+ years’ experience in fundraising (ideally with trusts, foundations and/or corporates)
  • Proven track record of meeting fundraising income targets
  • Strong relationship-building skills; confident engaging a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills; able to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine commitment to Threshold’s mission and values; donor-focused and engaging approach
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work across a varied workload (including some evening/weekend travel)
  • Fundraising or business qualification (desirable)
