This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious fundraising team at a pivotal point in the organisation's journey, with investment in philanthropy and a strong pipeline of untapped major donor opportunities.

The organisation has transformed its major donor programme over recent years, delivering substantial income growth and building an engaged community of high-value supporters. With a pipeline of qualified prospects, a highly relationship-focused fundraising approach and excellent senior stakeholder support, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact while shaping and growing your own portfolio.

You'll join a collaborative and supportive team that values autonomy, creativity and long-term relationship building, giving you the freedom to develop meaningful donor partnerships that drive sustainable income.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to shape and implement strategy for major donor fundraising focused on income growth and proactive donor engagement
  • Lead and deliver the major donor programme, managing a portfolio of HNWIs at the 5 and 6-figure level
  • Take ownership of the Chair’s Circle, the charity’s flagship major giving product, ensuring its growth, relevance, and excellence in delivery
  • Act as the lead fundraiser for the Philanthropy Board, driving engagement, strengthening governance relationships, and maximising philanthropic income through this network
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for major giving, building a solid pipeline including restricted funding propositions
  • Create thoughtful and engaging stewardship plans that inspire donors and strengthen long-term engagement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
