Exciting Opportunity for Phlebotomist
The University Hospital of North Midlands, Mid Cheshire and East Cheshire NHS Trusts work in partnership as North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
We are looking for a confident, reliable, and well-presented individual to join our Phlebotomy team.
About the Role
We offer a Phlebotomy service in a range of locations across Staffordshire and Cheshire, including hospital and community bookable clinics.
Based at Royal Stoke, the successful applicant will be an integral part of the phlebotomy rota and will provide a high-quality patient-facing phlebotomy service across Royal Stoke and other Trust locations as required, ensuring safe and efficient blood sample collection to support patient care and diagnostic services.
Locations
We offer a phlebotomy service in a range of locations across North Midlands, including Royal Stoke and County Hospitals, ward-based, community walk-in centers, and community appointment-based clinics.

- The Trust has around 1,450 inpatient beds across 2 sites.
- Our 11,000 strong workforce provide emergency treatment, planned operations, and medical care from Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital in County.
Requirements
It is a requirement of your role that you have access to a car for work purposes, which must be suitable for traveling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital. It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is insured for class 1 business use and the transportation of pathology samples. Expense will be paid in accordance with Trust Policy when you use your vehicle for work purposes.
