Phlebotomy Supervisor Opportunity
The University Hospital of North Midlands, Mid Cheshire and East Cheshire NHS Trusts work in partnership as North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
We are looking for a confident, reliable, and well-presented individual to join our Phlebotomy team.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the phlebotomy team in various locations across Staffordshire and Cheshire, including hospital and community bookable clinics.
- Deputise for the Phlebotomy Management Team where necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in all phlebotomy techniques is essential.
- Previous supervisory experience would be considered an advantage.
- Must enjoy working with people and possess good communication skills.
- Attention to detail is important along with basic keyboard skills.
- Must have access to a vehicle for work purposes, suitable for travelling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital premises. The vehicle must be insured for class 1 business use and for the transportation of pathology samples. Expenses will be paid in accordance with Trust policy when using your vehicle for work purposes.
