Phlebotomy Supervisor Opportunity
The University Hospital of North Midlands, Mid Cheshire and East Cheshire NHS Trusts work in partnership as North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
We are looking for a confident, reliable, and well-presented individual to join our Phlebotomy team.
About the Role
We offer a Phlebotomy service in a range of locations across Staffordshire and Cheshire, including hospital and community bookable clinics.
Based at County Hospital, the successful applicant will be an integral part of the phlebotomy rota and expected to provide day-to-day supervision of the phlebotomy team in all of the above locations. You will also be expected to deputise for the Phlebotomy Management Team where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the phlebotomy team.
- Deputise for the Phlebotomy Management Team where necessary.
- Ensure access to a vehicle for work purposes, suitable for travelling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital premises.
- Ensure the vehicle is insured for class 1 business use and for the transportation of pathology samples.
- Expenses will be paid in accordance with Trust policy when you use your vehicle for work purposes.

Required Experience
- Experience in all phlebotomy techniques is essential.
- Previous supervisory experience would be considered an advantage.

- Basic keyboard skills.
