Are you passionate about the value and difference that quality Health Visiting can make to children and families?

Are you innovative in your thinking about reducing health inequalities and supporting children to make the best start in life? Are you, or have you recently practiced as, a Health Visitor? Are you interested in making a step into a leadership role in Public Health Nursing?

We have a great opportunity for an aspiring Health Visitor to move into a team leader role. You will be joining the existing Team Lead for Stevenage to lead and support a skill-mixed team to effectively and safely deliver the Healthy Child Programme. You will be proactive and innovative, like a challenge, and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be supported by senior leadership and the wider Trust to grow and thrive in your Team Leader role. You will be joining a service that prides itself on delivering a quality, needs-led service, which is able to support improvement and innovative projects.

Your work will continue to benefit children and families, and you will retain your SCPHN qualification, and have access to the iHV for inspiration amongst other benefits.

Proposed Interview Date: 27th August 2026*

You will contribute to the strategic direction, supporting the continued integration of pathways, and take a lead role in facilitating effective positive partnerships with key stakeholders.

You will lead on productivity, efficiency, and clinical outcomes across the Public Health Nursing 0-5 team and will implement improvement plans where appropriate.
