Job Title: Photographer & Retoucher
Brand: Linzi Shoes
Location: Romford, Essex / Various Shoot Locations
Reporting To: Photography Producer
Role Overview
Linzi Shoes is experiencing exciting growth, and as we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and highly skilled Photographer & Retoucher to join our in-house team.
This is a hands-on role combining photography and high-level retouching. You will be responsible for producing high-quality imagery across campaigns, lifestyle, eCommerce, and digital content, working from creative briefs to bring each concept to life while maintaining a consistent Linzi visual identity.
We are looking for someone who is versatile and adaptable in their photography style, with the technical ability to confidently move between controlled indoor studio environments and outdoor/location photography. You should be comfortable interpreting different creative briefs, adapting lighting, composition, and shooting style accordingly, rather than working to one fixed photographic aesthetic.
Strong post-production skills are equally important. You will be expected to deliver a high level of professional retouching, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to create polished, natural, and commercially strong final imagery.
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Brief Execution
- Photograph campaign, lifestyle, eCommerce, and digital content across both indoor studio and outdoor/location environments.
- Interpret and execute creative briefs, adapting your photography style, lighting, composition, and approach to suit different concepts and objectives.
- Confidently transition between studio lighting setups, natural light, and location photography while maintaining a consistently high standard of imagery.
- Work closely with the Photography Producer and Creative team to understand the direction and requirements of each shoot.
- Direct models and work collaboratively with stylists and the wider on-set team to achieve the required imagery.
- Make confident creative and technical decisions on set to achieve the strongest possible results while working efficiently.
- Conduct test shoots where required to refine lighting, compositions, and setups ahead of larger productions.
- Set up and manage shoot environments, including lighting, equipment, backgrounds, and composition.
- Capture imagery for key areas across the Linzi website and app, including homepage, categories, collection pages, loyalty content, and About Us.
- Photograph brand events and activations where required, ensuring key moments and content requirements are captured effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
