About the Role
Artist management agency, Twenty Twenty, is looking for a motivated Agent to join our team in London. We are looking for someone with 2 years + experience in a photography agency, or similar industry to join our team. This is a very client-facing role focused on building relationships in the industry and converting those into commissions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Representation of high-calibre artists, and development of rising stars.
- Researching new clients and building relationships, whether in person or online.
- Making appointments for the agency and artists will be a cornerstone of the role, as well as nurturing and retaining existing professional relationships.
- Attend and assist folio meetings - both in the UK and overseas.
- Help identify and recommend new artists for the agency roster, both in the UK and the US.
- Manage and attend industry events, such as Picture This.
- Negotiate competitive fees and manage budgets. Please note this is not a production-focused role, though you will be assisting the team when needed.
- Updating social media (Instagram, LinkedIn), Twenty Twenty website, creating monthly mailers. Managing ad hoc design projects such as artist postcards and our annual printed mailer.
- Manage the Twenty Twenty intern (when applicable).
- Helping artists with pitches and treatments on image research and proofreading.

The Ideal Candidate
- 2 years + experience in a photography agency, or similar industry, which has led to established relationships with commissioners.
- A desire to immerse themselves in the world of photography and culture, attending events, openings, and relevant talks.
- An excellent command of English and the ability to change tone to suit various needs, from client emails, to mailers to exhibition text panels. A 2nd language is always a bonus as we work widely across Europe.
- A good knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop is highly desired.
- A trained eye for curating images across commercial, editorial, and fine art spaces.
- An ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at the same time.
- Understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration, both in the office and the wider sphere of the industry.
